Figure Deep Dives

Miles Morales and Miles as Prowler

Miles is the emotional center of the Spider-Verse right now: the teen hero created by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli who first appeared in Ultimate Fallout #4 (2011). The CMF gives Miles a faithful film/comic look: detailed printing, revised webbing, and that unmistakable aura of “main character.” The Prowler variant is a purple/black outfit Miles dons in one of the film’s alternate-universe sequences and is a standout because of its braided hair piece, vinyl-record accessory, and a custom mask element (nice little nods to the movie’s street/graffiti aesthetic).

Collector note: The Prowler figure uses a new braided hair/mask combo that already has AFOLs hunting for spare parts. Keep a look out!

Gwen Stacy / Spider-Gwen (Ghost-Spider)

Ghost-Spider exploded into fandom in 2014’s Edge of Spider-Verse run and became a franchise star. Lego’s CMF captures her signature hood, white/pink print, and a spare unmasked blonde head, a Gwen Stacy classic, and a great little package for fans who’ve been waiting for a compact, display-ready Gwen.

Gwen Stacy and Spider-Punk

Spider-Punk (Hobie Brown)

Then there is a punk rock Spider-variant created in comics (mid-2010s) and supercharged by Daniel Kaluuya’s voice work in Across the Spider-Verse. The CMF’s leather/ax/guitar vibe comes through with spot-on printing and attitude. From myself, he’s one of the most talkative (and poseable) figs in the set.

Spider-Man 2099 (Miguel O’Hara)

Miguel O’Hara is the futuristic Spider-Man from Marvel 2099 who first appeared in 1992 and made the jump to film continuity in the Spider-Verse movies. The CMF nails his angular mask and futuristic printing; it’s one of the series’ most visually striking figures. With the only other minifigure of him being quit pricey, this is a great way to snag this unique Spider-Man variant.

Werewolf Spider-Man (Peter Parker)

Yes, a werewolf. This wild alternate variant channels monster-verse Spider lore and is exactly the kind of “what-if” figure collectors love to see: new molds, new designs. It’s goofy, dramatic, and a reminder the Spider-Verse will include just about anything. And Lego has it here for you as well.

Peter B. Parker & Mayday

This two-in-one minifig pair is a clever inclusion: Peter B. Parker (the “worn but still heroic” Spider-Mans from the movies) comes with baby Mayday (and the figure nods to the larger Spider-Girl/MC2 legacy). Mayday herself has an MC2/Spider-Girl pedigree in the comics, and the CMF packs a cute generational Easter egg for long-time fans. Peep the robe that Peter Parker wear... iconic.

Peter B Parker & Mayday and Spider-Man India

Spider-Man India (Pavitr Prabhakar)

Pavitr’s Mumbai-rooted Spider-Man originally appeared in a 2004 retelling and has become a beloved alternate Spider-hero. Lego gives him a compact, colourful minifig that even includes Spider-Cat in some press shots, a fun bit of character world-building in micro form. A very unique and welcome addition to the line-up.

Cyborg Spider-Woman (Petra Parker)

A heavy, techy Spider-variant, Petra is essentially a “cyber” take on the Parker archetype seen in the films. The CMF uses bionic arm/armor pieces and a breathing-mask element to sell the sci-fi look. This is one of the more visually different takes in the lineup and might end up one of the more expensive minifigures in the lot.

Cyborg Spider Woman and Sun Spider

Sun-Spider (Charlotte Webber)

Sun-Spider is one of the newer movie characters and the CMF includes fun, character-specific elements (recoloured crutches and a new cap mold). It’s a small but thoughtful figure that shows Lego designers paying attention to background characters who matter onscreen. Definitely not as iconic, but variation is always welcome in the CMF line.

Spider-Byte (Margo Kess)

A cyber-verse native, Spider-Byte comes with translucent parts and a printed “tablet” accessory to sell the whole cyber/AR vibe. The leg printing sports a more recent addition to Lego of side leg printing. Rebrickable and BrickLink list her as a great pick for builders who want wild color swaps and translucent limbs.

Spider Byte and Web Slinger & Spider Horse

Web-Slinger (Patrick O’Hara) & Spider-Horse

Last but definitely not least, this cowboy-style Spider (complete with a tiny masked “Spider-Horse” foal) is an on-screen gag turned into a perfect minifig. The small-animal accessory and cloth shoulder cape make this one of the series’ most playful entries. A must have for me and most collectors interested in Marvel or just unique Lego figures.

How to collect (quick collector’s guide)

  • Blind boxes or scan? Lego’s blind boxes include scannable codes, the community has already indexed them so you can scan rather than gamble. If you hate RNG, buy the 6-pack (66797) or source single figs via sites like BrickLink /BrickOwl or even via sellers on Whatnot or eBay.
  • Best way to display: Single stands for pairs (Peter + Mayday), tech dioramas for Spider-Byte, and small mounts for the more sculptural figs (2099, Spider-Punk).
  • Resale & rarity: Some of the more movie-accurate or new-mold figures (Prowler braids, Spider-Byte translucent parts) tend to spike on secondary markets, but exact prices shift fast, so check price-trackers like BrickEconomy / BrickLink. It is never a bad idea to take a gamble on CMFs like these.

Final thoughts

This CMF series is a textbook example of Lego doing two things well: faithful screen adaptations and creative alternate-universe spins that surprise collectors. Whether you want the emotional anchor (Miles), the meme-ready weirdness (Werewolf, Web-Slinger & Spider-Horse), or the design wins (Prowler braids, Spider-Byte translucents), 71050 delivers. If you’re a Spidey completist, clear some shelf space and prepare your order history.
